Breast Cancer Awareness Month

BreastCancerAwarenessYou may have seen lots of pink splattered across your television screens while watching the NFL match ups this past weekend. That means it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Did you know about 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime? Or that besides skin cancer, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women? Just under 30% of cancers in women are breast cancers.*

The facts are staggering but over the past few years we have made huge strides into the research and treatments for breast cancer. However, the battle is not over. There are several ways you can give back locally to support such an important cause:
