Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina Announces New Officers and Executive Committee

Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina announces the election of new officers and executive committee members to their Board of Directors. Clayton Dorn of UPS will serve as Chairman of the Board with Randy Brodd of Dixon Hughes Goodman serving as Chair Elect. The two new officers join existing officers Steve Crouse of Paragon Bank as Treasurer and John DePolt of CHEP as Secretary. Joining these officers to complete the Executive Committee is Monica Cutno of Envision Science Academy as Chair Programs, Jon Dewar of LPL Financial as Chair Marketing/Communications, Steve McLaurin of McLaurin Parking Company as Chair Fundraising & Events, Ron Senchak of Verizon Wireless as Chair Board Development, Camden Webb of Williams Mullen as Immediate Past Chair and Rick Dipper as Past Chair.

In announcing these new JA Officers and Executive Committee Members, Bebee Lee, President of Junior Achievement said “I look forward to working with the Executive Committee as we continue our rapid growth and important outreach to the students of Eastern North Carolina. We are honored that these highly-qualified and enthusiastic members of our business community have accepted these positions on the JA Board of Directors and thank them for their commitment of time and talents to our very important mission.”

Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina facilitates partnerships between schools, corporate supporters, classroom sponsors and volunteers to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy by teaching financial literacy, workforce development and entrepreneurship to students in grades K-12. JA volunteers use hands-on experiences to help young people understand the relevance to see how what they are learning in the classroom applies in the real world. During the 2014-2015 academic year, JA of Eastern NC served nearly 10,000 students.
